About me
I have been interested in photography for some time now, but my interest deepened considerably when I moved to the Isle of Islay in the Inner Hebrides 3 years ago. There is so much beauty here, just waiting to be captured on camera or canvas; so many nuances of light, so many subtle shades and hues. I am very privileged to live where I do and to have opportunities to travel and photograph what I see.
Apart from taking photos, I work in Islay's Natural History Centre and regularly have a stall at the Made on Islay craft fairs during the summer. I also enjoy walking, birdwatching, playing the drum and trumpet and listening to Just a Minute on Radio 4!
